What is Reiki?

Reiki, founded by Dr. Mikao Usui in early 20th century Japan, is an ancient healing practice that taps into universal life force energy, accessible to all beings regardless of their beliefs or backgrounds. Through gentle techniques, practitioners connect to this universal source energy to facilitate healing in recipients, addressing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects. While Reiki is not a replacement for medical care, it can complement traditional therapies.

In our sessions, we begin with a tranquil tea ceremony to set intentions. During the Reiki session, I employ light touch or hands hovering over the body to channel healing energy. You’ll experience deep relaxation as the energy rebalances your system, possibly feeling warmth, tingling, or profound peace.

I tailor the session to address your specific concerns or areas of tension, aiming for rejuvenation and inner peace. Remember to honor your body’s response and allow time for integration post-session. My priority is to provide a supportive environment for your Reiki journey. My original Reiki I and II training cost me $600 under the guidance of a local practitioner, and although I value the experience, I’m grateful to have discovered Blissful Careers’ affordable Reiki courses. Seeking to expand my knowledge from a different teaching perspective, I enrolled to deepen my understanding of Reiki 1 & 2, and was pleasantly surprised by the wealth of information provided.

The curriculum delved into essential concepts such as the Three Pillars of Reiki: Gassho, Reiji-ho, and Chiryo, topics that were omitted in my initial training. The modules are meticulously detailed, making it an invaluable resource. I wholeheartedly recommend it! Additionally, Blissful Careers offers Reiki Master training and a Crystal Reiki Master program, providing comprehensive opportunities for further growth and specialization.
